Planting schedules and specification advice either in person or over the phone or email is something that our design heritage & decades of experience puts us in a unique position to do, and we are more than happy to visit your practice to discuss or via email or phone. Site visits are all in a day’s work, and we are always happy to offer nursery tours for your practice, or for you to meet your client here.

We work with prime housebuilders and developers across the UK across high end residential properties, providing hedging, statement pieces, or a more wide variety of planting elements for the scheme. We can create planting schedules, offer design support and planting advice as part of our service. We understand that the planting on a scheme is not a mere after thought, but a key part of building value into the property.
-
We work with garden designers on residential schemes and show gardens, ensuring that the plants meets the exacting standards required. We have been privileged to have worked on many RHS show gardens, including multiple Gold, Silver and Best in Show Gardens.

With the ability to create planting schedules, supply direct to site on the day you need the plants, and direct billing with the client where required, we can help ease your workload. We have 12 acres of stock, and our own transport allows for speedy delivery. We have vast experience working on commercial schemes, making sure the planting doesn’t let down the whole project, as we so often see.

FAQs
What are architectural plants?
Architectural plants are specimen trees, mature shrubs and large perennials which add structure, texture, depth and contrast to a garden.
Our belief is that through the use of architectural plants rather than small perennials often found at garden centres, a scheme has an established look as soon as it is planting, creating instant impact.
Are you open to the public?
We are a specialist wholesale nursery serving only landscape professionals, from our specification partners through to our network of landscape contractors and property developers. We are not a retail nursery, and therefore not open to the general public.
Do you sell pleached trees?
Over the past 3 years, both evergreen and deciduous pleached trees have become very popular. A pleached tree has a clear stem, and the foliage is tied to a flat panel. At Ladybrook, we offer pleached Hornbeam, pleached Laurels, pleached Photinia Red Robin and many other types of pleached trees.
Can you contract grow for a project?
For large schemes, we can collaborate with the landscape architect and contractor on a scheme to grow plants specifically for a project. This ensures that site dates can be met, the plants are all consistent and they can be inspected and QC checked at various stages of the process. Our specialty for contract growing are 5L perennials and large shrubs.
How far do you deliver?
We deliver specimen trees & plants to residential and commercial projects all over the UK, with our own transport, providing control over the quality and delivery of the plants from beginning to end, and this is extremely important to us.
Do you only sell what you grow?
We have worked hard to develop an extensive network across the UK and Europe to give our clients the ability to specify a vast range of architectural plants and trees from large bonsai trees and ornate pieces of taxus topiary through to rootball hedging, pleached trees, unusual shrubs and perennials.
